Finding a well-made, well-fitting bra in Nairobi shouldn't be a treasure hunt. So we built the brand we couldn't buy.
Every woman we know has the same drawer: one good bra, worn constantly, and a graveyard of mistakes. Wires that dug, bands that rode up, cups that never quite fit.
Shopping for better meant either imported brands priced for another market or guesswork from photos. Nothing was made with our climate, our sizes, and our budgets in mind.
What we set out to fix
LYEC Essentials started with one product brief: a wireless bra comfortable enough to forget, supportive enough to trust, and invisible under everything, at a price that makes owning three realistic.
We fit-tested on real bodies from S to 2XL, and we kept only the styles that earned their place. That's why the collection is small. It will grow the same way: slowly, and only with pieces that pass.
Where we are now
We're based at Kimathi Chambers in Nairobi CBD, we deliver countrywide and ship worldwide, and we size every customer who asks before they pay. That last part isn't going anywhere.
